The company founder, Damien Shine is Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) with over 30 years’ experience in the Offshore Energy and UK Defence sectors. He started his career as an Apprentice Engineer in Devonport Royal Dockyard and has held many positions in previous roles, including Principal Engineer / Marine Surveyor, Engineering Superintendent, Project Manager and Managing Director. He and his team have extensive experience in offshore and marine engineering design solutions, and project management working closely with clients to deliver cost effective high quality fully engineered solutions, from initial concept, right through to detailed design and execution at international locations.
In addition, He has extensive global experience and involvement with new builds, life extension, upgrades, renewal surveys / refits, operational support and asset integrity and vessel delivery for all types and classes of vessels.
Navanna Shine
Design Engineer
Navanna graduated from The University of Strathclyde with a First Class Masters of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and has excellent knowledge and experience in design and development of novel engineering solutions, particularly in the marine environment, and within the offshore energy industry. Possessing good knowledge of offshore marine structures and their performance and having previously developed concept designs & prototypes, through to fully costed engineering solutions. She is proficient in the use of design packages, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, STAAD, Orcaflex, AutoLoad, Maxsurf and ANSYS and undertaking complete design & reliability assessments, including structural design, mooring analysis, stability assessments and CFD.
